J.S. Braun/ Braun Intertec Professorship of Science and Technology

For one semester each year, the Braun professorship brings an outstanding professor from another university to the Institute of Technology to address issues related to geotechnical engineering, construction materials, pavement, and environmental engineering, as well as hydrogeology, chemistry and industrial hygiene technologies. MTS Professorship in Geomechanics

The MTS professorship brings several outside faculty members and researchers to the Department of Civil Engineering each year to collaborate with faculty in the geomechanics research group. Visitors stay for a period of two weeks to three months. Contact Professor Andrew Drescher for more information.
