Construction Management
The Department of Civil Engineering has recently initiated a Construction Engineering emphasis, in partnership with the Construction Management program in the College of Continuing Education. Any course in the Construction Management program can be applied as a technical elective in this emphasis.
In addition, a minor in Construction Management is possible through the College of Continuing Education. This emphasis will prepare you for a civil engineering career with a heavy construction firm (buildings, roads, bridges, etc.) or as a consultant to the heavy construction industry.
